Accessibility
From my own experience of using a screen reader, I know what is important when it comes to an accessible website. I have tried to implement this as best I can on this page.
What has been implemented
A skip link to the main content, full keyboard accessibility with visible focus indicators, alternative text for all images that are essential to the content, verified colour contrasts, a coherent heading structure with exactly one main heading per page, landmarks set for navigation, main content and footer, consideration given to the system setting for reduced motion, and correct language markup for German and English. Image galleries present their content only once, and the technical copies remain invisible to screen readers. Testing is carried out using the NVDA screen reader and automated testing tools.
Legal framework
I am making this statement of my own accord. No formal conformity assessment has been carried out in accordance with the WCAG or BITV standards.
Suggestions and feedback
